Junk Cleaner typically installs in the background without any warning. Once Junk Cleaner has been installed it will automatically run and will generate various pop-up messages. Once of the pop-up messages caused by Junk Cleaner says “Warning! The pop-up notifications that Junk Cleaner generates are continuous and will not stop until your remove Junk Cleaner. However, Junk Cleaner is very difficult to remove and practically impossible for most computer users without the use of a reputable Anti-Malware program.

As previously mentioned, Junk Cleaner will generate various misleading and deceptive pop-up and notification messages. The pop-up messages may claim or appear to be native to Windows, but once they are clicked by the user another message will appear that promotes Junk Cleaner. An example of two messages are shown below:

The notification above is designed to frighten victims into purchasing Junk Cleaner. Although the computer may be infected with malware, paying for Junk Cleaner will likely cause more problems.

The issues with Junk Cleaner don’t stop there. Some notable programs with Junk Cleaner is that it can automatically download and install without your consent and alongside a large list of potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) and very severe forms of malware. Our initial Junk Cleaner review showed that Junk Cleaner bundled with hundreds of files, registry keys, data, and values relating to malicious software and unwanted programs. This was displayed in a scan by Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. A second-opinion scanner also identified various threats.

The registry editions made will cause Junk Cleaner and the threats that it bundles with to run every time you start your computer and remain enabled if you chose to somehow disable them.

Furthermore, programs and malware that this program may bundle with will cause additional issues such as pop-up advertisements, browser redirects, a slow and sluggish computer, computer crashes, and more. These programs also put your privacy at risk and can remain hidden in order to spy on you and collect your personal information and mine banking or bitcoin data.
